147. Not all nuanced speech is a Hannity ploy.

That does us an injustice.

What all of us know now is not what some initially thought they knew. Probably some were gullible and spoke without the benefit of the input of the group. But we bring them along, educating not attacking them.

We are weakened not strengthened when we don't give our mostly likeminded fellow DUers the benefit of the doubt. The harsh and adamant tones used all too often in threads is not conducive to strong bonds or working together for common cause. Nor does it allows the newer people to grow into a broader view. It is likely it just drives them away.
