I mentioned somewhere else that with every accusation of sexual harassment (or worse), the accusation should be evaluated to determine whether it is credible in light of the surrounding circumstances, just like any other accusation. That goes whether the accused is someone we justifiably despise or someone we justifiably like. Apart from the tiny matter of "How in the f'ing world does anyone in there right mind come up with an "equivalency" between Moore and Al" (yes, that crap drives me nuts too), the statements of the courageous women who came forward to expose (pun intended) Roy Moore have indicia of reliability too numerous to list while anything claimed by Franken's accuser beyond "that was me in the photo" does not. Franken's apology brilliantly made that point.
The point I've been trying to make during our discussion is that, when looking at matters which detract from the credibility of anything past "that was me in the photo," slut-shaming like "she dry humped the guitarist," or "she posed in Playboy," or something that is already being thrown in our faces like "she's a not in my political party," should not be among them.
