THAT is the huge problem.
Take the Franken situation off the table. He may or may not be guilty of what he's been accused of. That's why a thorough investigation has to be done.
But, what if you have anonymous people coming forward to accuse you of something (Doesn't have to be a women accusing a man, it could be a man accusing a woman of sexual harassment), and the person being accused says that they didn't do it? How can you defend yourself, gather evidence together when you don't KNOW who your accuser ARE? A person does have a right to defend themselves.
