8. Blue state professionals aren't going to be decimated.

Our taxes will go up under this plan, but we'll manage just fine. Because we're reasonably well compensated and we are clever enough to manage the adversity of coughing up another thousand a year or so.

It's Trump's precious "working class whites" who are going to take it on the chin. Things will just keep getting worse for them. Maybe they'll eventually figure out why.

(I'm not actually a blue state professional, but I've been getting closer and closer every four years. Maybe 2020 will be the year.)
