23. The royals and kings of England

Enslaved entire nations. Ask India how they liked British rule? The royals today are some of the richest people in the world. How did they earn it? And yet most British citizens have to pay over $9,000 a year in tuition to attend college. It use to be free. And it is estimated that over 3,500 each night in England sleep rough or are what the US calls homeless.

Really, most kings and queens cost a country much, much more than they bring in in tourist dollars. I would prefer to spend the money on the homeless and tution than in support of royalty and all their castles and luxuries.
