12. Recall you're reading something translated from Russian ... and if you parse closely ...

"Suddenly! There was a thin squeak of warning in the DM.

It was a message from Donald Trump. More precisely a picture. In the picture he was sitting in the armchair of his jet, smiling cheerfully and showing me the thumb of his right hand."

Though it's 'implied by the verbiage', the guy does not actually claim that he personally received this tweet from Trump, to him (I mean, tweets aren't really LIKE THAT, are they?). And we're also not reading the native Russian here, as Russian speakers.

Granted, we good people should ALSO not interpret what we're reading as definitely meaning 'he got a tweet from Donald Trump', so there's that, and it's not an insignificant point.

If you read it as 'then, almost like it was A SIGN that appeared from teh Heavens, this appeared on the Twitter!' ... type of thing ... I think you'll be reading the tweet correctly.

That doesn't make the rest of the story bogus/non-factual, however.
