13. It does seem crazy and hard to believe. I'm not 100% sold on that part of the story, HOWEVER....

Whether it was Melania who first took that photo or not, Rykov did post the same photo to his Instagram page that night. Meaning at the very least, Rykov had Donald Trump on his mind all the way back in 2012. Now, by the time Election Night 2012 had rolled around, most Americans had long forgotten about Donald Trump's flirtation with running for the GOP nomination back in 2011. They viewed it as nothing more than a publicity stunt on his part. But Rykov clearly hadn't forgotten.

Also, let's not forget Trump's noted habit of retweeting and responding to random people (even bots) on Twitter after they throw him some love. It doesn't matter how despicable they are. Their Twitter handle could literally be "WhiteGenocideTM" but if they compliment Trump, that's all he cares about.

And here's more. On Rykov's Twitter that night, he posts this after receiving word of Mitt Romney conceding to President Obama:

Translated by Google as:

Konstantin Rykov

@ rykov

Romney uncovered. Congratulated Obama. I wonder what Trump will say?

Again.....why the hell is Konstantin Rykov so concerned about what Trump thinks back in November 2012?

And even weirder is one of his responses, which shows a screen cap of Trump's Twitter responses that evening. That comes from Yulya Alferova, who would later usher Trump around Moscow during his Miss Universe 2013 visit along with her then husband and fellow friend of Rykov, oligarch Artem Kluyshin. Both of them would later start to heavily promote Trump as a potential presidential candidate shortly after the 2013 pageant.
