Yesterday, I went to the doc for a long-overdue checkup. When he asked about depression, I first laid into The Stumpster, to which he agreed, then I explained any bad days seem to be increasing but are getting harder to tell apart from depression or the result of powerless outrage over the direction this country is headed. Doc then went on to say, in the last year, he has seen more of that than ever before. Prescription was: "more exercise, less beer". I said: "can-do" to the first, and "what, are you trying to kill me?" to the second.

I guess we somehow have to hold on.
