3. In 2012, you don't need a comic from 1986 inspire you to do a mass shooting.

You can base your mass shooting on the three zillion mass shootings that went before. All you need is unfettered access to guns and ammunition, procured with the tacit approval of your fellow citizens.

Sorry, but pop culture is not the issue, even if the shooter did read this particular comic.
