19. I don't see the Republican party as evil. Or weak. Or cowardly. Or even craven

Scratch any gilded portion of their wee little lillies, brush any spray-on hair or tanner out of the way, drown out their deep desire to defend Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues as Godly, and all I see left is simple greed.

I don't see the Republican party as evil. Or weak. Or cowardly. Or even craven. What I see is nothing more and nothing less than simple greed.

Every policy, every vote, every tact they make is crafted for one purpose only-- to make as much as they can in as little time as they can as efficiently and as effectively as they can. All other concerns being a distant second at best.

And, as enough bubble-gum philosophers have told me evil (and good) does not exist, I'm not nearly evolved enough to argue them their bumper-stickers. But none have told me greed does not exist, so for the time, we've still got that going for us.
