Re: tax bill . College endowments are getting taxed but senator Toomey has offered an amendment 1690 that carves out exemption, not for colleges in his own state- but for the very conservative hillsdale college in Michigan



Sen. Hatch also inserted amendment #1685 -
"Deduction for religious instruction tuition."
In other words: They raising taxes on public schools & grad students to subsidize private religious education.
