23. republicans are banking on the ability of their propagandists to keep people in a fake world

Those folks who only believe Trump's Tweets, Rush, Hannity and Fox 'news'- They are their base and Republicans know they have been trained to ignore their own experience in favor of the fantasy they are sold.

That and their voter suppression and divisive distraction efforts.
