I've been hooked on 'Biblical' end times prophets for some time. There have been many on TBN (Trinity Broadcast Network, founded by Paul and Jan - major big hair - Crouch).

They are all very passionate (many look like experts on the various 'aliens were here' tv shows). There's lots of disagreement - premillenial, postmillenial, tribulation, etc. Slacktivist at patheos discusses these ideas a lot in his many posts critiquing page by page the book Left Behind.

2 men in the 19th cent introduced these ideas into American fundamentalism - Dabney and Schofield. See esp the Schofield reference Bible.

Watch these endtimes people on the Jim Bakker show, the Gary Stearman show, John Hagee. Some major ones are Tim Horn and John Schooley (sp?). Bakker calls Schooley the 'prophet from the desert' (possibly implying a connection to John the Baptist).

The major Biblical prophet now is Rabbi Jonathon Cahn with his NYT bestsellers The Harbinger, The Paradigm, The Schmeta (sp?). He's on the Jim Bakker show a lot. And has been on the Sid Rothmann show It's Supernatural. He also has his own show

Tons of this stuff in videos on youtube.
