3. There's purpose behind this. Franken's been a good senator,

and I also wanted a full investigation, with his accusers required to testify to the senate ethics committee, public or private fine, but they decided to do it this way. And he's not irreplaceable. Minnesota has some good Democrats.

Again, though, his resignation is part of a strategy, taking him off the spotlighted stage and leaving Trump and Moore there alone. I'm moving on to bigger issues, as he wants.
