Personally, if I could trade 10% of our left-wing whiners for 10% of the right-wingers whose only remaining principle is being passionately against the other party, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

How to get rid of them after we swept the nation in 2018 would be a problem for then. But I'm inclined to guess we'd want to leave the whiny defeatists we'd traded off to continue their work for the Republicans.

Just imagine, "We've going to lose in 2018 because our leaders can't do anything right" chorusing out in a million Republican voices all over social media every day or so. If only.
