It's infuriating that the Democrats constantly fall for republican dirty tricks and hypocritical finger pointing without any kind of pushback or even a full investigation of the facts. I'm all for taking the high road but not when it's based on unproven (or possibly false or over exaggerated) allegations.

I'm so sick of republicans letting their own get away with the most horrendous crimes and misbehavior just to stay in power, while the Democrats cave immediately—even before they know for sure exactly what happened.

I emailed Senator Franken's office and encouraged him to stay in the Senate, where he is desperately needed as a strong, intelligent, and articulate voice for us. He should not be pushed out without getting all the facts. Nobody should be pushed out over anonymous, unverified accusations. If he's willing to be investigated, they need to do it and shut up about him resigning! Yes, I'm pissed!
