Many of us were extremely upset with Democrats in congress yesterday. I like being part of a party that is polite, reasonable, and honest. I certainly don't want Democrats to behave like republicans, but I agree that they need to fight back more. The Democratic party used to be the tough party, very street smart and combative, as it represented the working class. I certainly don't want to go back to the Richard Daley type Democats, but we could toughen up and stop eating our own.

You are right about the "always apologizing" and "self correcting". If we believe in something, we should stand our ground and not let the bullies win time and time again. Republicans see our integrity as weakness, we need to make it our strength.
