Ash is covering the ground like a dusting [View all]

of snow.

The air makes your sinuses raw and your eyes water.

It burns your throat and lungs.

The sun is a reddish orange and the air is full of smoke cutting down the visibility to a smoky haze.

I am in Santa Barbara miles from the fire but it is moving closer to the places and cities between here and Ventura.

Is this our future?
