And so let the conspiracy theories begin. [View all]

I just saw a post shared by TWO facebook acquaintances (one conservative, one a 9-11 "truther" and anti-vaccine activist) and no, I am NOT linking to it.

It says that it's not a coincidence that the Colorado shooter was a neurology grad student, and may have been hypnotized or drugged. That he was funded by shady groups (possibly the FBI ) that wanted a "big bang" before some upcoming UN meeting on small arms. The writer called this "Fast and Furious II" and posited that it was all a sneaky attempt to allow the UN to come into the US and confiscate all our guns. Or the FBI. Or a UN-FBI cabal. I think. (sorry, I'm not up on conspiracy universe) But they want our guns.

The writer said that it had to be a "gubmint conspiracy" because 1) some of the stuff the guy was wearing wasn't exactly available at Walmart and 2) the stuff he had cost $10-$20K, and where would an unemployed student get that kind of money?

Anyone else see this? WTF?
