1. It's totally bizarre. There was a picture of snow-covered Atlanta on the local news today.

I'm in southern New Hampshire and we haven't seen more than a few dozen flakes of the stuff. If the ski areas couldn't make snow, they wouldn't be open. Snow in the south, fires in the west, temperate in the north, and we've pulled out of the Paris climate agreement.
