really 2 is where you'd see this 'guy' with the collapsible baton.

Oh and about James being dressed like a gun nut the media reported he was dressed like a swat team member so I guess they are all gun nuts with the ballistic helmets and the body armor much like soldiers and even 'regular' police that military up in that kind of gear.
