Notwithstanding a lot of speculation, I don't think either Sanders or Warren will run anyhow. Anyone else will have to survive the primary elections, and this matter will not be forgotten. Anyhow, where is it written that the nominee has to be a Senator?

I will, of course, vote for the Democrat in the general election.
