and pretend that it didn't happen.

Now, as for practical matters, he's going to count on Alabama election officials taking a longer than usual time to certify the results, and the push will be on in the Senate to approve WHATEVER comes out of the conference committee on the tax bill, as long as Luther Strange still holds the seat.
