If Moore, or more precisely, donors pay for the recount, it doesn't matter how much he lost by. Remember that Strange remains the Alabama senator until he is replaced. So there is going to be no hurry in the AL SOS office to proceed, expect a recount to be announced the week after Christmas, the recount and appeal could take a long time.

Recall that Al Franken was not certified after his first election until the end of June the next year... That's some fucking irony right there.
