Sen. Bob Corker's tweet calling the White House 'adult day care center' was one of year's most popul [View all]
WASHINGTON — Sen. Bob Corker’s Twitter takedown of President Donald Trump in October was one of the year’s most popular tweets by a member of Congress, according to a new study.
Corker’s tweet, in which he likened the White House to “an adult day care center,” was retweeted 148,659 times, making it the most viral Twitter message posted by any Republican in Congress.

It was also the fourth most-retweeted message by any member of Congress, according to an analysis of how federal lawmakers used social media over the past year.
Corker, a Tennessee Republican who chairs the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, fired off the message Oct. 8 after Trump attacked in him a Twitter tirade.
