(793 posts)...to use the artifacts of "Libertarianism" to expose to the world that the Right intends it as cheifly applicable to "whites of the landed class". Being black myself, with a flawless military record and with no criminal record of any kind;I would gladly join Black Open Weapon Carry marches, very peacefully and publicly, with a tightly-knit group of like-minders who were vetted and safe. I'm sure it would expose unease with police and the public who have no issue with Tea Party types doing the same. My concern would be infiltration on the part of law enforcement who would predictably instigate, disrupt and create "false-flag" events - the same playbook that COINTELPRO used against the Black Panthers(and I am not advocating black nationalism here in any-way, simply OWC by black Americans).
But this tactic should be part of a larger strategy on our part that couldn't be more obvious in my mind; using the constructs the Right are building to expose their first principles and force them to shift...Progressives should be incorporating-literally forming corporations- so that we can upsize our political influence, hide our finances and motives, expose entrenched good ole boy networks as hardly meritocractic, etc., and simply do things the right does not want corporations to do so they will be forced to shift - and in that shift they will expose the inherent fascism that is their intent. I would love to see OWS groups, Anonymous and others create legitimate corporate personages - then any attack on them by the Right becomes self-defeating.
Never forsake that we own rights, we own liberty...both freedom from depravity and the right to pursue happiness. Freedom stands with us.
