15. Lots of flawed people have a great talent for

self aggrandizement and rise above their levels of competence and ethical appropriateness. Some have enough ability to pretend and and maintain, most eventually fall, but a surprising number self destruct.

Brazile put herself in danger by unethically offering questions to the Hillary campaign that weren't even requested, apparently to curry favor with people she expected to be around the next president. And did it again in spite of being courteously rebuffed the first time. Someone else will have to write a book to find out whatever other foolish missteps she was making.
