I drive from Fairfield to Los Gatos pretty regularly (680 to 17). It often takes me as long to make the 6-7 miles from Lark Avenue to Los Gatos as it does to do the 60 miles from my place to Lark Avenue.
And dont get me started on the Sunol Grade, or the 680-24 merge at Walnut Creek. I made the trek last night, and it was especially bad.

I like in Florida and I can tell you, drivers here are NOT the second best in the United States...
