(31 posts)In hindsight that was true. We had little money and no one to run against him other than the guy he just beat. With Citizen United the money just poured in. However we thought it would work at the time. I thought that using tax dollars to pay the salaries of people running a secret wireless network to work on his campaign would be impossible to overcome. But this was rarely brought up either during the recall or the previous election. Maybe some the nation media will ask him directly on live TV. That would be great:
"Governor Walker why did you allow people who get paid from taxes to work on your Governor campaign during work hours? When caught, you sent an email to these people, who were being paid by the tax payers of Milwaukee County, stating to stop bringing personal laptops into work. Why were you allowing tax payers to pay the salaries of people working for your campaign rather than the people of Milwaukee County. Do you think the people of Milwaukee County should be paid back the salaries for the time they worked on your campaign? If not, why not?"
