For one thing, he did not "veto" it, the White House rejected the proposed plan. Period. They did approve the southern portion, for use in transporting DOMESTIC oil, not tar sands oil, to the refineries around the gulf. And yet, some people are STILL looking for an excuse to deny giving him credit.
