Maybe you can educate me on why it's ok to joke about this? If someone's going to bring up the Trayvon issue (however obliquely), then I think this is fair game. I actually assumed the shooter was white until I read otherwise. To me it's got nothing to do with black/white (since the lady obviously didn't mind stealing a white baby).
Race was brought into the Trayvon case pretty heavily; I think it's fair to examine whether that's a fair standard.
And no, I'm not a "transplanted fox poster" but thanks for asking.
*I don't know if she's poor but in Houston, houses are so cheap that one someone lives in an apartment it pretty much equates with being poor.
