before it's all destroyed. Like I implied in my initial post, this is a for-profit plan as it stands. The Earth is already on life support. Why not develop and perfect commercial thermonuclear fusion reactor technology with the money that cameron and his group want to spend on asteroid mining? That might just save us from ourselves. cameron et al can say anything they want about raising the GDP. That means nothing to people living along the Earth's Equator. They're already suffering from the effects of human-exacerbated Global Warming. Just remember...what goes around eventually comes around.
