A few years ago, Iraqi resistance was able to intercept live video feed from an American drone, but that video feed was not encrypted. Hopefully we've learned from that.
Encrypted data is very hard to crack. The NSA can do it by brute force using supercomputing clusters that the Iranians can only dream about. Not because they're dumber than us (I know a lot of first rate Iranian engineers), but because our defense budget is about 1000x larger than theirs.
Then again, who knows?

They might have meant the software if it was encrypted also if its made out of
