Cheney, former CEO of no-bid Halliburton, laments not having jumped headlong into yet another neocon-inspired Mideast war that would add $3 trillion or more to the deficit and reinvigorate the body bag business. Negotiations with Iran are likely fail, he says, not alluding to the fact that he is hoping for such failure since it would greatly enhance the possibility of war. All this is "damaging" and "terrible", says Cheney.
