where one side is almost entirely comprised of 50+ year-olds. Sounds sort of entertaining really.

Sorry, Dobson, but the vast majority of people who would be angry enough to start a civil war over homosexuality are also the type of angry old people who scream their agreement at Fox News all day. Whatever they were in their youth, all they are now is angry couch-shouters. Occasionally they can drag themselves to a parade or a protest wrapped in the flag singing God Bless the USA or some other rancid propaganda piece, but by and large they are really only capable of yelling that everyone needs to get off their lawn.

Loud and annoying...yes. Capable of civil war...highly doubtful.
