The secular liberals lost the election and were too immature to wait and win one. They never accepted the results of the election. And they were led around by the nose by the military.

The "armed and violent" MB never controlled the repressive apparatus of the state.

I don't know how you can call a military dictatorship a progressive state. This is Mubarek's deep state without Mubarek.

Where are those secular liberals now? In jail with Morsi.

Egypt had a chance at real democracy. Egypt's secular liberals blew it.
