7. My wife was there. She was underwhelmed.

Big on applause lines like "equal pay", so faint as to be translucent on any actual substance. In fact, she was actually kind of offended by the fact that equal pay was the big thing, given that the audience was all women--it struck her as less than courageous.

It's probably worth adding that my wife really, really tried to like Hillary, since she (like many of us) really wants to see a woman as president in her lifetime. But she just couldn't do it.

By the way, Bernie's been down here so many times, it's not even that big a deal any more!
