I'm 100 percent pro-union but I think such a move would just give ammunition to the teabagger rubes whose radar is especially sensitive to the slightest inkling of the "Union = My costs go up" meme.

I'm not saying it's right, but that is the way the MSM/corporate media will play it.

It's usually the companies/corporations that push the hikes: Labor should seek shelter under that.
