(14,674 posts)I highly doubt he actually believes 90% of the stuff that comes out of his mouth. He's a psychopath who was lucky to be in the right place at the right time, and saw a window of opportunity. He saw how willing Fox News watchers were to believing anything as long as it was said with enough sincerity and passion (faked or not). Especially that far-right segment that is afraid of its own shadow and is open to any and all suggestions about enemies, and danger, and impending doom.
So he went all in. He went for the fringe of the fringe. I'm sure some of his avid listeners think Fox News is a liberal network. He cornered the market in loonieville. Christians, sincere ones, are highly gullible to suggestion. Especially ones that cater to their sense of persecution and ostracization.
