But you know what I meant. Yet rather than assessing it rationally, it's better to do this . I'm not saying that outrage about this slaughter warranted - what I AM saying is this young man is sick because he's a societal misfit. And he likely didn't slide out of his mom's womb all programmed to do evil.
The nine folks he shot are the ultimate victims. Roof is the culmination of horrific catalyst influences - but you are the one who brought the word victim to his defense - not me. We (for ALL our self-assigned smarts) are an F'd up species. Look at the avatar on your posts. I spent time there too - voluntarily, no less. What did we gain from that stupid foray? I now get to wear denim shorts that are made there - instead of here - is that my reward? What does this have to do with Dylan? We were there because of flawed ideals and goals. And there - there were only what - about 50K Americans blown away for nothing? We're a species cursed with a thinking, perceptive brain. And sadly, that organ doesn't perform in the most ideal way - like shooting innocent people because your formative years were dominated by sour influences.
What I said before was that Mr. Roof didn't just come fresh out of the package - age 21 - programmed with racist ideas and brandishing a .45 automatic. There was an ugly road that brought him to Tuesday night. And it wasn't all on his shoulders alone.

I DO have a grip on what's what here. I was one of the first to predict that the NRA's comment was that the victims are to blame because they weren't armed. And to think............... those NRA folks have brains that are technically, just like everyone else's!
