As of right now, recent dna evidence suggests that the fugitives are still in the area. The area in question is inside the Adirondack park: extremely rural wild forest and generally bereft of year around population. What is there, are numerous seasonal camps, many of which are tucked deep down forest, awd only, roads. Most of these camps will be stocked with basic non perishable food and other supplies. It is entirely conceivable that if they are able to avoid detection, they could survive for an extended period of time in this region. The main roads are completely locked down -- I had to pass through three different checkpoints in order to get out of my neighborhood this morning -- there is zero chance they are getting out of there by car, if they're still around, but the forest is vast and so is the trail system. This could take awhile and the fugitives don't necessarily need help to survive -- they do need food and shelter though, so the unoccupied camps are key.
