which is "police departments scattered all over the country which are largely the fault of inadequate training and not enough independent oversight and the fact many police departments seem to be doing a pretty shitty job at weeding out people who never should have even been hired" ... that if left unchecked, might get around to treating white people the way they do those Black folks.

That is how your dismissal of white privilege comes across ... to those without that privilege.
