I mean, of course, presumably ... gay peoples' gaydar would be more 'finely tuned' sure, but ... I don't think being straight completely obviates the possibility of having a fairly solid detection capability.
It would probably depend a lot on how much 'experience' one has amongst the 'community'. And plenty of us 'straights' ... have plenty of ... that
Now, some random family hardware store owner from Tennessee who puts up a 'No Gays Allowed' sign in his store? Yeah ... you're right, probably an example of a person with a rather 'crude', at best ... gaydar. For sure.
But it's not really fair to say that NO straight people have a gaydar. That's STEREOTYPING!!!!11!!!
