and both have thriving LGBT and arts communities. Ideal for Democrats, in many ways. But they're both dominated by corporations and international trade, and are home to some of the wildest of wild right-wing nut jobs. Sanders "natural' audience here would be university students, but dead-of-summer is the off season for them.
If he were looking just for a show of support, Austin would be his prime Texas destination.
