119. Stereotyping all gun owners

As being malicious and violent seems like a huge stretch, yes, there are people out there who shouldn't own weapons period, abs this is certainly one of them, but the fact remains that anti gun laws only hurt law abiding citizens, And in the end does nothing to prevent violent crime. This individual was clearly dusturbed, and if he didn't have a gun he would have just used some other weapon, a knife, machete, sword, etc... he was clearly there fit one reason and one reason alone, and that was to kill that reporter. A heartbreaking story for sure which will have gun advocates yelling that a gun could have saved lives, and control advocates screaming that guns are the root of all evil.

I carry, but in a situation like this it would have done very little to no good since this was in essence an ambush attack. Though I'll honestly say if still rather have my gun and never need to use it, than need it that one in a million chance and not have it. To me it's about being prepared.
