Mark Cuban is thinking of running for president [View all]

The billionaire owner of basketball’s Dallas Mavericks outlined a prospective presidential candidacy in an email exchange with CNBC — and the star of reality TV’s Shark Tankpredicted he would do quite well, thank you.

“If I ran as a Dem, I know I could beat Hillary Clinton,” Cuban told the financial news network. “And if it was me vs. Trump, I would crush him. No doubt about it.”

No word on whether Cuban would consider an independent candidacy, or whether he is talking about 2016 or some future election.
