Hillary Clinton’s campaign is making sure the name Kevin McCarthy stays in the 2016 headlines for as long as possible.

The Democrat’s campaign is going up Tuesday with a new five-figure ad buy on national cable that will feature a 30-second video highlighting the House majority leader’s statement last week crediting the House committee investigating Benghazi with politically damaging Clinton, according to a campaign official.

The video, which will air on MSNBC and CNN in the days leading up to the first Democratic debate next Tuesday, opens by declaring, “The Republicans finally admit it."

The spot features the possible next speaker of the House's statement, which became immediate fodder for Democrats who have long maintained that the committee was more about hindering Clinton’s 2016 ambitions than looking into the 2012 attack itself..................
