Sorry if I was unclear on that: It was always substandard product.

And even the products they were selling that were made in the USA, they struck deals with the US manufacturers to make lower-quality, lower-priced garbage for domestic consumption, so you were buying a name-brand, US product, it just wasn't the same quality as was being sold elsewhere.
