In reply to the discussion: Hillary Clinton calls for marijuana to be reclassified [View all]bravenak
(34,648 posts)117. I find it suspect that folks care so much about black men being incarcerated when it comes to weed.
But never say boo about the kids as young as four being arrested and the unequal punishments that occur in our demographic from pre school to death, on every issue. But mention WEED? They get all hot and bothered and even attack BLACK PEOPLE over the issue of those selfsame blacks being punished worse, like those blacks do NOT ALREADY KNOW THAT. It seems selfish to me, like they just wanna smoke freely and care now because white kids are getting caught up in the drug war. I noticed sypmathy for heroin addicts now that it's hitting the suburbs. I guess we can thank Hoffmann for raising their awareness that they never had when scores of blacks were dying.

I never get angry drunk messages from Hillary supporters. Mostly from family. Have a nice day.

I only accuse those who I already know, from their own admissions, that they drink too much.

It's a move in the right direction, but not good enough. It's not 1939 anymore.
