They were bombing anti-Assad forces in the north along the Turkish border. Not all anti-Assad fighters in Syria are affiliated with ISIS.
That's Putin's dirty little secret. He doesn't care about ISIS. He's bombing everyone opposed to Assad and calling them all ISIS terrorists.
His only interest in Syria is to keep Assad in power.
You should educate yourself on this subject matter before posting and regurgitating those talking points.
